Moving Harmony is a tangible, interactive learning tool that helps jazz conservatory students experience harmonic tension by making it physical. As a backing track plays, a motorized platform tilts in real time toward the chords being played, mapping harmony onto the circle of fifths. Students can also play along using twelve buttons on the platform's surface.
