PULL is a physical educational tool for beginning jazz musicians to get familiar with harmonic tension. With the use of the circle of fifth this complex and abstract construct is translated into a simple elastic band is stretched based on the input of a jazz song. Throughout the process a group session (six participants), five expert interviews (four experts), and two preliminary evaluations were conducted.
